What can you do on your turn?

Once in battle every movement counts, so it is imparitive that you take stock in what you can and cannot do at once.

Durring battle you can only do so many thing within your six (6) second turn, and all of your actions count against you. All the things you can do are categorized as Types of actions:

Standard
A Standard Action allows you to do something and move your speed during a combat round. You can move before or after performing the activity of the action. You can also perform as many free actions as your DM allows.

Full-Round
A Full-Round Action is different from other actions because it takes place durring then whole Round. A Full-Round Action consumes all your effort during a round. The only movement you can take during a Full-Round Action is a 5-foot step before, during, or after the Action. You can also perform Free Actions as your DM allows. Some Full-Round Actions do not allow you to take a 5-foot step.

Move-Equivalent
Move-Equivalent Actions take the place of movement in a Standard Action or take the place of an entire Partial Action. Taking such an Action counts as moving your speed. For instance, Goku can move 34 feet and attack once, or get up (a Move-Equivalent action) and attack once. He could also stand up and move 34 feet. He could even stand up retrieve a stored item (both Move-Equivalent actions).
If you move no actual distance in a round (commonly because you have swapped your move for one or more Move-Equivalent actions), you can take one 5-foot step either before, during, or after the action. For example, if Goku is on the ground, he can stand up (a Move-Equivalent Action), move 5 feet (his 5-foot step), and attack.

Partial
A Partial Action is like an "incomplete" Standard Action. As a general rule of thumb, you can do anything with a Partial Action that you could do with a Standard Action, minus a move (ie: You could attack, but not move). Usually, you don't elect to take a partial action; the condition you are in or a decision you have made (usually the ready action) mandates its use. (You can elect to take a partial action as an extra action in some situations, such as when you're affected by Extra Actions.) Typically, you may take a 5-foot step as part of a partial action. You take a partial action instead of a standard action for a variety of reasons, including during a surprise round; when you have readied a partial action; and when you are disabled, staggered, slowed, or otherwise hampered.

Free
Fre Actions consume a very small amount of time and effort, and over the span of the Round, their impact is so minor that they are considered free. You can perform one or more Free Actions while taking another Action normally. However, the DM puts reasonable limits on what you can really do for free. For instance, calling out to your friends for help is free. Reciting your clan's war history, however, takes several minutes.

Not-An-Action
Some activities are not even considered free actions. They literally don't take any time at all to do and are considered an inherent part of doing something else.

Basic Actions:
Action Type Description
Attack Standard Use any type of attack (including Powers)
Block Partial Attempt to stop hand-to-hand attacks, that is, counter an attack while holding your ground.
Dodge Partial Forfeit your chance to attack to concentrate soley on evading attacks.
Get Up Move-Eqivalent If knocked down, you can get up.
Grab Standard You can grab an opponent.
Move Move-Equivalent You can move half your Move.
Hustle "Double" Move-Equivalent You can move your full Move, but this Action counts as two Move-Equivalent Actions.
Run Full-Round You can move double your Move stat, but you cannot take another action. And your Evasion is 0 (automatic fail) until your next turn.
Power Up Standard Gather Power to use from your inner reserve.
Activate Ability Standard Use Ki to activate a single ability (ie: Extra Actions, Reflex Boost, etc.).
Retrieve Stored Item Move-Equivalent Obtain an item on your person (ie: from a pocket, sachel, back-pack, etc.).
